MESA ARCHITECTS RECEIVE SIEGEL AWARD

Coalition for Sustainable Transportation (COAST) will recognize Mesa Architects with the Barry Siegel Award at its 7th Annual Fall Gathering on Thursday, October 27, 5–7:30 pm at the Inn of the Spanish Gardens (915 Garden Street, Santa Barbara).

The Board of Directors is extremely impressed by the vision of Mesa Architects for a more sustainable neighborhood and by the organizational work that this group has performed. It is always a pleasure to reward success, and it is to your merit that the City of Santa Barbara has taken the very important first step in making Cliff Drive a better street.

COAST is the local non-profit organization that promotes pedestrian, bicycle, bus and rail transportation in Santa Barbara County. The Barry Siegel Award –named after one of COAST founders- is presented annually to individuals for their outstanding contributions to alternative transportation. Mesa Architects will be the 5th recipient of this award, joining Marc Chytilo, Sherrie Fisher, Naomi Schwartz and Ralph Fertig on our highest pedestal.
